Volunteer Opportunities
are available for all types of professionals,
regardless of the number of hours you can contribute.
Even if your skills don't match today's
current volunteer opportunities,
we never know when a client might
come to Jericho Road with a requirement that will interest you!
The volunteering process is:
- Meet for coffee with someone from the Jericho Road Lawrence team to learn
more about the program and to describe your professional background
- Decide which of your professional skills you want to offer to
our clients
- Specify up front how much time you are willing to commit
- Choose a project that appeals to you based on your skills,
hobbies, interests, and availability
- Attend a no-obligation meeting with a client to get to know them
and hear about the project from the client perspective
- YOU decide if it's the right project for you
- Write a Scope of Work with the client to be sure the same
expectations are understood by everyone. Check in with a JR team member during
the project and record the project outcome at the end.
